About us

RepairRadar is operated by HarbourPoint Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 16783008), registered office Unit 11 Forest Gate, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England, SN15 3RS. You can contact us at matt@harbourpoint.online.

Our role

RepairRadar is a marketplace that connects drivers who need car repairs with local garages. We are not a garage and we do not carry out repairs. Any repair contract is made directly between the driver and the garage. We are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for the quality, safety, pricing or completion of any work.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter into a contract to use the service.

Drivers

  • Describe your repair honestly and accurately.
  • Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and may change once a garage inspects the vehicle.
  • You choose which garage, if any, to proceed with, and you deal with that garage directly.

Garages

  • You must hold any qualifications, insurance and registrations required to carry out the work you offer.
  • Quotes you submit must be genuine, clear and accurate.
  • You are responsible for the work you agree to carry out and for meeting your obligations to the driver and under law.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and fairly. Please see our Acceptable Use Policy for what is and is not allowed. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

Liability

The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, quotes or work of any driver or garage, or for losses arising from your dealings with them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
